At last, the dates for Shoddy have been set. The exhibition will be open from Thursday 7th April till Saturday 16th April. We’ll be open every day apart from Sunday, 12-7pm.
There’ll be a launch event on Wednesday 6th April 6-8pm.
The venue is Live Art Bistro (LAB), Regent Street, LS2 7QA, which is just on the way out of the city centre, not far past West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Many thanks to LAB for hosting Shoddy. In tune with one of Shoddy’s themes, re-purposing and re-using, we’ll be creating a gallery within a space that’s more usually used for live art, workshops and performance. We’ll be using a section of LAB’s space to install a fantastic range of work. Like Shoddy, LAB is a DIY, volunteer-run project.
LAB has a level, then gently ramped entrance once you’re over the threshold. I’ll post more access information later, or get in touch for details.
There will be more information about the exhibition over the coming weeks, but for now, put the dates in your diary!
Shoddy is supported with funding from Leeds Inspired, part of Leeds City Council.
