Shoddy will have a stall at the Artists Book Market 2017, which takes place at the Baltic on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May, 10am – 5pm on both days.
Following a successful stall at the International Contemporary Artists Book Fair at the Tetley earlier this year, Carrie Scott Huby and I will be travelling up to Gateshead for more conversations about disability arts and about shoddy. It will be interesting to see if people in the north east are as familiar with the origins and manufacture of shoddy as we are in West Yorkshire!
In return for a conversation, people will be able to take away the Shoddy publication.
For more information about the Artists Book Market, go to www.balticmill.com/whats-on/whats-on-artist-events/artists-book-market-2017
where we are high up on the list of stallholders.
If you can’t get to the Baltic and would like a copy of the booklet, please get in touch via the blog or Twitter @ShoddyArts.
Or you can see it online.
